My name is Tracey and I live in Braintree, Essex.
I have had many pets through out my childhood and adult years, but since having given up work at the end of April 2007 I have gone totally cavy crazy...

I was given one guinea pig in February that a friends daughter could no longer look after and was hooked.   I had always had rabbits and guinea pigs as a child but had been cavy free for a few years until then...

I now have 22 guinea pigs and although I started out with the intention of breeding them, after having four litters and crying when every baby left, I have decided that they are just going to be the most spoilt pet piggies ever.

We have a collection of other animals ranging from mice to a crazy boxer dog.   But my favourites are definitely the ones that squeek at me when they hear the fridge door open.

We have two new additions to our guinea pigs.   We had recently been looking after a friends two little girl guinea pigs when they went on holiday.   A couple of weeks after their most recent visit we were asked if we would be prepared to give them a permanent home - so we did.   Fifi and Bumble now live with us.   We had hoped that Hocus would move in with them - but this was not successful so they are remaining as a terrible twosome.   They are very sweet, if not a little skittish.   Photos will be added soon.
